In September and October, five blog cafés were held in Kropyvnytskyi as part of the “Together We Can” programme.
The meetings covered topics ranging from media literacy to mental well-being – helping participants discover new approaches to communication, mutual support, and community development.
September 9 – Kropyvnytskyi
Topic: The Microphone of Truth: How Youth Change the World Through Podcasts
Trainers: Vladyslava Onyshchenko, Yuliia Oliinychenko
Young participants discussed the power of podcasts as a tool for truth and influence. They created their own audio ideas, searching for the voice of a generation that refuses to stay silent.
September 12 – Kropyvnytskyi
Topic: Restoring Mental Health: A Workshop on Resilience
Trainers: Kateryna Patalakh, Oksana Zavina, Tetiana Bosonchenko
Art therapy, creative exercises, and emotional awareness techniques turned the session into a genuine space for self-care and inner recovery.
September 25 – Kropyvnytskyi
Topic: The Role of Social Media in Crisis Communication
Trainers: Iryna Reznik, Anna Borodavkina
Participants explored how social media can serve as a lifeline and coordination tool during crises. They created their own anti-crisis posts and checklists for responsible communication.
September 26 – Kropyvnytskyi
Topic: The Role of Emotions in Conflict: How to Manage Yourself and Understand Others
Trainer: Anna Tytchenko
Through exercises such as “Emotional Thermometer” and “Emotion Translator,” participants practiced recognizing their emotions, understanding others, and engaging in non-aggressive dialogue.
October 9 – Kropyvnytskyi
Topic: Agents of Change: Building an Inclusive Society
Trainers: Olena Prokopchuk, Nataliia Hapichenko, Oleksandra Shevchuk
Discussions focused on accessibility, inclusion, and mutual respect. Participants practiced basic sign language and brainstormed ways to make their communities more open and inclusive.
These meetings united youth, thought leaders, and professionals who strive to make their communities stronger, kinder, and more empathetic.
